This Privacy Policy explains how Hotel Božica (“we”, “us”) handles personal data collected through this website and in connection with our hospitality services. We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We process personal data only where we have a valid legal basis, including the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, compliance with legal obligations, the legitimate interests of the controller, and consent where required.
In connection with accommodation reservations and guest stays, we may process personal data necessary for managing reservations, guest registration, providing accommodation and related services, issuing invoices, handling payments, responding to guest requests and fulfilling legal obligations applicable to hospitality providers.
Depending on the circumstances, such data may include name and surname, contact details, nationality, date of birth, identification document details, reservation details, payment-related information and any special requests communicated to us.
Certain personal data are processed in order to comply with legal obligations applicable to hospitality providers in the Republic of Croatia, including guest registration requirements, the maintenance of legally prescribed records, accounting obligations and cooperation with competent public authorities where required by law.
Room reservations are completed on our booking partner PHOBS, on an external secure page. Any payment and booking details you enter there are processed by PHOBS under their own privacy terms; we do not store card details on this website.
In addition to our booking provider, personal data may be processed by trusted service providers acting on our behalf, including IT and website hosting providers, payment service providers, analytics providers and other contractors who support the operation of our business.
We use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics 4) and for an embedded rate-tracking tool (The Hotels Network). When these are active, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline them, and you can reopen it at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. The Hotels Network may process certain technical and behavioural data for the purposes of rate comparison, website optimisation and performance measurement.
Where you have given your consent, we may use your contact details to send you information about offers, promotions and services that may be of interest to you. You may withdraw your consent or unsubscribe at any time, including by contacting us at info@hotel-bozica.hr.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected. Accounting and invoicing records are kept for the period required by Croatian law (currently 11 years). Enquiry and contact-form data are kept for no longer than 2 years after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law. Once the applicable retention period expires, personal data are securely deleted or anonymised.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access.
Where personal data are transferred outside the European Economic Area (for example by our analytics or rate-tracking providers), we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
